COMMENTS: The 2018 season was a highly disappointing and injury-plagued campaign for Giovani dos Santos with the LA Galaxy. As a high-priced Designated Player earning $6 million in total guaranteed compensation, the Mexican forward struggled to make a meaningful impact, playing just 823 minutes across 14 regular-season appearances and making only 10 starts. Persistent leg and knee injuries severely limited his availability and form throughout the year, resulting in a career-low production of just three goals and two assists.
