COMMENTS: Didier Drogba captained the Ivory Coast national team, recovering from a broken arm just before the June 2010 FIFA World Cup in South Africa. He scored against Brazil in the group stage, though Ivory Coast was narrowly eliminated, and later led the team into early 2011 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
